Question

Married filing separately, child care credit keeps calculating credit, what am I missing in input. I have selected married filing separate, living with spouse.

  1. Go to Credits > Dependent Care Credit (2441) > Children, Dependents;
  2. Click on General Information in tiny prints in the top-right corner;
  3. Scroll to the bottom for the line 1=married filing separate and treated as unmarried.  Check that this input field is blank; and
  4. Preview/refresh forms.
