Question
Last year ProConnect calculated I would receive a refund. I had to open a HSA for 5K to reduce my tax liability. The IRS did not agree and sent me a bill for >1K.
Could there be a flaw in ProConnect's calculations or maybe they don't follow IRS guidelines to offer the correct tax calculations? In my case the refund amount calculated by ProConnect rejected by the IRS and turned into a tax liability.
