Question

Is there a way, on the IL standard client letter, to change the date which it asks the client to mail the report by? We have filed for an extension.

The client letter automatically populates the date as June 30, 2020, but we need to change to November 15, 2020.

Which type of return?

Are you sure you are asking about ProConnect Tax Online? 

Did you enter a 1 for Automatic Extension for the Federal? That should trigger a date change for IRS and IL.

    Yes, ProConnect Tax Online for a 990. The 1 for Federal extension did not change the date, however, you saying that prompted me to look further and down at the very bottom of that input screen there was a section for IL Extensions. Thanks!
