Is there a new fee imposed when I create a copy of the originally filed return and used it as a corrected return?

    No.  Be sure to keep a pdf copy of ALL tax returns you file.

    Thanks, but my question is actually, which of the original or the copied return should I use for a corrected return (amendment, or any other purpose), in order to avoid a new fee?

    After opening the original and making a copy return, should I proceed with the original without a fee, or shoud I close the original and open the copied return for a further processing without a fee?
