Question

Is it possible to merge two returns when rolling forward to the next year? I had 2 clients who were previously single returns, got married and are now filing jointly.

Would be great if I didn't have to manually combine carryforward items, etc.

That would be great, but I know of no tax software that does it.

    Keep the most complicated of the two returns and add the spouse to that return.
