We are a former Lacerte firm and still learning Proconnect, but it there a way to link with client's online brokerage accounts to import data the way you can with Lacerte and Pro Series? The import process and accuracy is very different that the 1099 scanning recognition software, which is very limited in terms of brokerage data. We have some new/last minute clients with huge securities portfolios and are not looking forward to entering this data.

I just do nice single line entries for each of the A, B, C, D, E,... flavors of sale.  You can also do a "see attached"

or maybe this is what you want to do. Personally I hate that because there is so much review to do AND it does not do wash sales well at all.

Thanks, yes the review can take a long time. It’s kind of surprising that with Turbo Tax you can use the same direct import from brokerages like Lacerte, but not Proconnect. But maybe this is because they load programs onto your computer.
