If I leave a document off of a 1040, is there a way to recall a return?

Hi @Drake CPA , the answer from @Widdy is correct.  We can't pull a return back once we transmit it.  However, you can file a superseded return in our program or, if the IRS has already processed the return, an amended return.   This article will provide additional information: E-filing Superseded Returns in ProConnect .   If you need assistance, please contact ProConnect Support.

You can file a superceded return, which will take the place of the originally filed return - as long as you file before the due date of the return.

You can file a superseding return any time before the due date of the original return. It doesn't matter if IRS has processed the first return filed already.,

The more I know the more I don’t know.

It will deny it in efile if it has already been processed.
