Fix what caused the rejection.

Re-submit via the normal efile process.

Just to add to Anna's comments, you'd need to select the option to unlock the return before fixing whatever caused the rejection.  Otherwise, you won't be able to make any changes to the locked return.

Jensen - are you 'assuming' the OP locked the return after filing?  Or, does PTO do that for you?

Hi, Anna, PTO does it automatically once you attempt to e-file the return (not extensions though).  And if you unlock the return for whatever reason, you can't manually relock it.  It can only be locked again if that return is e-filed (e.g. for perfection or amendment).  This is a new function they introduced this year.  Hopefully, it'll get better over time.
