Question

Iagnostic error "Taxpayer's name is being truncated in the e-file. Shorten taxpayer's name..." when i shorten, IRS rejects it as name doesn't match IRS have on file.

It must meet the IRS' conventions for name control.  You may like to refer to this bookmarked section of Pub 4164 for guidance:
