I'm using ProConnect. I have 1065 K-1s to enter with multiple box 20 codes. Code AE is the most problematic, but there are also the ZZ codes. ZZ1 thru 9. I am having difficulty finding any guidance on entering these codes. Any suggestions or dire

Code AE. Excess taxable income. If the partnership was required to file Form 8990, it may determine it has excess taxable income. Report the amount of excess taxable income in Form 8990, Schedule A, line 43, column

Is your client required to file Form 8990?  When all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.  (I know this sounds snarky, but I am serious. When I started, that is all we had.)

For Box 20, Code ZZ - Look at the page that lists those "other" things. Post an edited image of that page, if you still have problems.  ALSO - read what it says in the input screen "(20ZZ) NOTE: Other information. This may be informational only, or may need to be reported in many possible ways, depending on the type of item. Please refer to the partner's instructions for Schedule K-1 for how to report. If this should carry to Schedule E, page 2 as income (loss), enter it in the Separately Stated Income and Deductions section under Less Common Scenarios, as either passive or non-passive as appropriate."
