Question

I have entered a the amount for a 1099misc but when I pull up the form it shows 0 income.

You must have entered the income on the 1099-MISC screen, which you accessed by clicking on the tiny prints in the top-right corner.  Only withholding entered will flow.  It's always a good idea to read the warning in the information box on the input screen.

Instead, you should enter the income on the main screen from which you gain access to the 1099-MISC input screen.
