I have a trust with NY trustee and NY beneficiary. I efiled the 2021 Federal & NY returns and they were accepted. I just realized that because the trust was set up by a NJ-resident decedent's will, and the trust income exceeded $10K, that the trust must file a NJ-1041 checking box 26 to claim exemption from NJ tax. The ProConnect file is locked. How do I go about doing this? For anyone who can help, please note that I'm fairly new to ProConnect.

is how to unlock.

My guess is go to Profile and add NJ and get it ready. Possibly you need to remove the efile from Federal and NY to do the NJ separately. Again, MY GUESS
