Question

I cannot get program to create the Form 8606. Does anyone know why?

Input all IRAs into program and added Value of all IRAs figure.  Will not create Form 8606.  Does anyone know why?

Follow the instructions in this article.  ProConnect Tax works the same way as Lacerte, which is the engine under the hood:

Just substitute the following:

  • Screen 24, Adjustments to Income: Deductions > Adjustments to Income
  • Screen 13.1, Pensions, IRA Distributions: Income > Pensions, IRAs (1099-R)
