I can't submit the e-file of 2025 joint returns with my husband since he passed away this year.
I tried to e-file 2025 joint tax returns with my husband who passed away this year. Here is the submission error message
E-file Transmission Failure
Requested efile items contains a mix of spouse and other efilings. This is not supported. Problem occurred transmitting efile data
