I am trying to open my own account but my email is associated with the old firm I worked at. Is there any way to for me to use my own email for my own use.

You will need to reach out to your old firm's admin or ProConnect Customer Success team to be removed.

You will do better using a different email and later inviting the old email if that’s what you want to use, from a time perspective.
