Question

I am doing a 1040X for an individual for year 2018. When inputting figures for 2018 original, the Other refundable credits, I can't put in Additional Child Tax Credits.

The 1040X does not have a box for 8812 credits, the Additional Child Tax Credit. Why?

There is for the refundable part. Nonrefundable part would go on Line 7 Credits I think.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

I agree, but when working on the EIC, there is no place to add the amount.
