How to report Grantor trust in multiple states.

I have a Grantor trust with operations in multiple states. In each of these states PTO generates a Grantor Letter that includes all of the federal income. The Mississippi return includes a worksheet that shows the Mississippi allocation, but the other states don't have an equivalent statement. I don't want to have each state assume that 100% of the income is taxable to the grantor in their state. Is there an option in PTO to generate a statement for each state with this allocation?

I have completed the State - Part-Year/Nonresident input in PTO for each state to indicate that they are all nonresident states (except one).

Since Lacerte doesn't do multi state Grantor Trusts I assume PTO does not either.

If you can copy the file, you can do a different state in the copy.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
