The new 1040 moved it.  I think things used to be manually entered on the VERY top of the 1040, but now the new 1040 has a dedicated space right above the taxpayer's name.

If I had to GUESS, I would say that Intuit will eventually add it back, but they need to re-program things to correspond with the new 1040.

Hi, as pointed out, the new 1040 form has moved this entry spot to right above the taxpayer's name.  ProConnect has been adjusted for this entry.  Please follow these steps to make an entry in this field.

1) Click on the 'General'

2) Click on 'Misc. Info/Direct Deposit'

3) Click on 'Miscellaneous Tab'

4) Scroll down to the 'Special Condition' section.

5) Enter your desired information in the field for 'Other Special Condition'
