how to combine 2 single filers into one return as a married couple

    There's no way to merge the files.  Pick the MOST complicated one then add the other one's info.

    Be very careful to tag/retag/ identify all related taxpayer/spouse info.  Especially W-2's

    Add a spouse to one of the returns and select Married.

      I should clarify - I filed these 2 individual returns last year, how do I copy the individual return as a spouse without doing all the data entry?

      There's no way to merge the files.  Pick the MOST complicated one then add the other one's info.
