How log does it take to convert data from another tax software after I uploaded it thru the wizard?

    It should be pretty quick. You then end up with last year's tax return. You need to review it verify accuracy. Later this month or early next month you can start to proforma to next year and patiently wait for the 2024 to be fully functional.

    To check the status of your data conversions:

    1. Click Settings in the upper right corner.
    2. Under Tools select Convert Data.

    The conversion Dashboard will display your current and previous conversions along with a status.

    Nah, the Convert Data tool has updated already. They’ll need 2023 files from their old software, which will create/start 2024 file in ProConnect. Gotta watch the tax year comparisons, depreciation, and any carryovers and make sure they came over correctly. 

    it’s usually pretty quick, I converted 350+ and was done within 15 minutes.

    I would say about 3 logs if they are hardwood or 4 logs if they are pine. 😉
