Question

How do I generate form 8962 in Proconnect when taxpayer is SE and did not received monthly advance payment of PTC. IRS is rejecting return. Please help. Thank you.

What is the applicable form number when completing SE Health Insurance section for 8962 in number 6 of instructions of Proconnect.

PTC and APTC are healthcare marketplace policy issues. If your taxpayer has that type of policy, they should have provided you with their 2022 1095-A. If they can't find it, they log into their marketplace and get it from there.

Thank you for response. Taxpayer had forgotten to provide her second 1095 that had data in the column APTC.I entered it and form 8962 was generated.All is good now. Thank you.
