How do i fix the rejection notice from e-file when all the cells are grayed out?

What cells are grayed out?

If you didn't enter taxpayer PIN, you wouldn't even have been allowed to e-file in the first place.  This means it's not the normal taxpayer PIN you're missing.

How about posting the full rejection code and message you received?  That would help pinpoint what you might need to fix (if that prompt is not already in the message itself).
