A client shared a copy of the email they received when I sent them documents using esignature. The name and email address are incorrect. Where do I fix that information? Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. I logged into Docusign as you mentioned and my name and email is correct in the profile section. Now what?

Is it an old email of yours and/or something you recognize?

Or a totally out in left field name and email?

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Yes - it is my former name - before divorce and an old email which I lost in the divorce in 2017 - lol.

Anyway - I've tried several times to have Intuit fix my name on my account in the past but they never followed through with correcting it after I submitted the requested paperwork - It shows up correctly on the tax returns so I let it slide. Link works correctly with my new email address. I just started using esignature last year and didn't realize the info sent to the client had it incorrectly until a client shared what she received.

Hi you should be able to change it yourself following these steps.  Intuit eSignatures are powered by DocuSign. Sometimes, the name/email is "stuck" in the DocuSign profile created during your first setup.

  1. If the steps above don't work, go to DocuSign.com and log in using your Intuit credentials.

  2. Click your Initials/Profile Picture in the top right and select Manage Profile.

  3. Update your name and email address directly within the DocuSign interface.

If that does not work, we can change it on the backend for you by calling ProConnect Support .
