Question

How do I find this: Mark the checkbox labeled Deduct cash charitable contributions if taking the standard deduction (forces the standard deduction)?

The system forces the standard deduction but does not allow any deduction on charitable contributions. The Intuit instruction does not show up.

Looking in the 2021 software? Rules change, as your CPE should have pointed out.  You won't find it in 2022.

    March 27th and the first return with donations?  The client base must not consist of a lot of philanthropic folks.
