how do I delete or remove a form (e.g. form 8996) in a partnership return?

    Find the input and delete it. Other Form > Qualified Opportunity Fund (8996) must have some input that is creating it. 

    Maybe some other passthrough input (i.e. K-1) input is generating it. 

    Check return. Find where the form and look for blue highlight lines with numbers on it and click that line, it should jump to the input. 

    There is nothing like what ProSeries has to delete a form.
