Question

How do I delete a software generated form 8453-TE when a pdf of that form has been attached (I am a self preparer and not an ERO with a 6 digit PTIN)?

Go to the Profile and remove the check marks to e-file. You will be mailing a paper return.

Thanks for the response, but this relates to a 990-PF filing which requires e-file.  Other thoughts? (I will try calling Help)

If you do not have an EFIN, then you can not efile.
