Question

How can one upload 2021 returns in the form of pdf files from file explorer into ProConnect?

You can not. It will import from tax products, but not from pdf files.

Thank you. I suspected that was the case. Interestingly, a rep at ProConnect said PC would be able to use OCR technology to convert it to an intelligible file that could be uploaded. I thought that sounded wrong.

I could be wrong. It does import pdf for input to Schedules B and D and W-2 and I am sure more. I don't use the feature. https://proconnect.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/import-export-data-files/importing-data-proconnect/L8KcChVtb_US_en_US?uid=leek0633
