Hello I have a client who is late, I need to send an extension but Proconnect is saying the deadline has passed to contact Cusrtomer service.

If you're looking for a time machine or a DeLorean, I don't think Intuit has either in their possession.  Perhaps you can go ask Doc instead.

The IRS tells you they will not process an efile extension that itself is late. Look here:

Extensions were due on 4.18.22.  One doesn't get to request an extension *after* the due date.

My suggestion to your tardy client is to get the return filed ASAP, as well as get any taxes owed paid too.

IF there's a refund... the impact of a late return isn't generally severe (baring any elections that could have only been made on a timely filed return.
