FW2-502 reject multiple times. Last digit of ein missing on 4 W2s. Copied, fixed and re-sent. Still rejected. Support says mail. First PCO return and I mail it? Help!

Try this article from TaxAct https://www.taxact.com/support/[social security number removed] /irs-reject-codes-employer-id-number-ein-or-payers-id-number

It is not PTO. Could be any number of typos. I would totally delete the W-2s. Exit the program. Come back in and retype them VERY CAREFULLY. If it still happens, either have the client re confirm with the employer(s) or you are stuck with mailing the return.

It worked.  Thank you so much. I think my eyes could not see where the typo was.  I appreciate this forum.  Tina
