This is my first year using Pro Connect. Is there a way to input data directly on forms? I have been fumbling around and haven't found any way to do this yet.

It does show forms if you click Forms

Then you can negotiate to any of the forms already on the return with this set of clicks.

Then all those blue areas will get you to the input. IF you had selected All instead of the Applicable you could then even find forms not yet on the return.

I am guessing that the input screen you REALLY NEED is not showing. Click the highlighted area.

Then you get an input that will hopefully make sense to you after some navigation.

I then move this slider to ALWAYS SEE this input screen. YES THE SOFTWARE is hard to learn, but once mastered it is a powerful program.

If you check return, you can see the forms. From there look for shaded lines and boxes. Click on that shaded area and it will jump to the input.

That is a very slow process. Spend some time with the training. https://accountants.intuit.com/training/ click ProConnect and there are several. Or YouTube https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaWmTLz8CSlYfyK-xz2ooFc1uEWPLqREP

Also try clicking the View All Input Screens - that might help you to see the organization.

Thanks for your response. However, I had already discovered how to check the return but it still does not actually show the forms. I was wondering if there is a way to directly input information onto the form instead of clicking on the input. You are right - it is very slow and tedious. I am disappointed in this software and will not use it again.

The ability to enter directly on forms can lead to errors. And why use software if you just want a typewriter?

The more I know the more I don’t know.
