Form 1040X and amended Form 1040 -Signatures
Does TP need to sign both Form 1040X and its attachment amended Form 1040?

In rare cases you mght want to attach a complete 1040, but it should not be signed and it should be marked "INFORMATION ONLY, DO NOT PROCESS" across the top margin. What you should attach are just the attachments that are being changed, both the original and amended.
