Question
First time trying to file return and get message: E-file Transmission Failure - ERO Preparer information is missing. I don't have an EIN. Do I need to get one?
My Efin is approved. The only thing missing is an entry for this EIN, but there's no asterisks by it so don't think it's mandatory. My social security number doesn't work in there. Error message won't go away.
