Final 1040 for Deceased Tax Payer

Hello Everyone,

Quick question, when filing a deceased taxpayers final return what do you usually request for in addition? IRS says they don't need to see a POA.

Asking for preparer's due diligence and any helpful response is appreciated.

    Death Certificate and Letters of Administration.

    You'll probably need to complete Form 1310, even if the instructions say you don't.
