FBAR zero balance option not working

The “-2” option does not work:

Form 114: To be required to file Form 114, the total value of all accounts on the spouse Form 114 must either be greater than $10,000 or at least one account must indicate that the maximum value of the account is unknown on the applicable account's line 15a. To indicate line 15a is unknown, enter a -1 in "Maximum value of account (-1=unknown, -2=zero)" on the applicable account. If neither of the above apply, Form 114 may not need to be filed. Please review the 114 instructions for applicability. US - Ref #2049965”

Hi @username180290 great to see you here, and thanks for posting about the -2 option not working for the FBAR.

We've reported this to our development team, and they've confirmed this will be addressed in a future update of ProConnect Tax.

Suggestions are in place to help you review returns before e-filing and won't prevent them from being e-filed. For this field, -1 indicates that the maximum account value is unknown, and the -2 option referenced in the Suggestion isn't available in the program.
