FBAR Form 114 – E-file Transmission Failure for Tax Year 2025

Hello Intuit Team,

I am experiencing an issue when attempting to e-file Form 114 (FBAR) through ProConnect.

When transmitting the FBAR, I receive the following error message:

"E-file Transmission Failure.

Tax Year 2025 transmissions are not available.

ProConnect Tax Online is not ready to process Tax Year 2025 for this return.

Problem occurred transmitting efile data."

I understand that FBAR is filed with FinCEN (Treasury) and not directly with the IRS, and that historically ProConnext has supported electronic filing of Form 114 independently of the IRS tax year opening.

My questions is:

1. Is there an official timeline for when ProConnect will allow FBAR (Form 114) transmissions for Tax Year 2025?

Thank you in advance for clarification and guidance.

Hi @Strong1 , there is not a current ETA on the availability of Form 114 at this time.  For further information please contact ProConnect Support  as this channel is a communities channel with preparers and will not receive immediate updates on the form status.

I'm having the same issue for over a week.  I have spent over an hour on a call with PTO support, she was unable to resolve this issue, just said it's not available yet after long hold times researching the reason.  I'm not sure where else to find the solutions.

@JNOV Did you read Kallana's post?

The more I know the more I don’t know.
