Electronic filing failure CODE: F8962-070
Am trying to efile a 2023 return that fails at IRS and says I need an explanation for no 8962. The taxpayer had ACA insurance last in 2022 but did not have it in 2023 and they say there is no 1095-A. So, I did not enter a 1095-A but the failure code indicates that they should receive a 1095-A. I created a PDF and uploaded it but the diagnostic did not go away so I said to ignore and tried to re efile it. It failed again.
I am stuck and may have to file manually. ???
