Hi Everyone,

Can you help me with this efile rejection below:

Error Message: Every attached file (i.e. binary attachment) must be referenced by the XML document that represents it.

Solution: When attaching a Substantiate VIN PDF for Form 8936, you need to also select the Activity Name or Number of the 8936 in the Electronic Return File Attachments screen.

Code: R0000-057-01

Thank you for your response.

We have identified the diagnostic issue. It was caused by an attachment linked to a schedule that was not included in the return. We needed to double-check which schedules and forms are included in the return.
