E-filing critical diagnostic issues - federal and CA

Hey all,

I'm trying to file a complete 1065 return, the entity conducts all business in CA. I'm getting critical diagnostics that are a bit worrisome, and I would like to clear these before I e-file. The federal diagnostics I'm getting are reference #0 showing that all the forms are "included in draft forms," and the CA diagnostics are that the forms are "unavailable" because the forms have not yet been "released and/or approved by the State and ProConnect Tax Online." I thought the federal business filing had opened on 1/13/2026 for the 2025 tax year, but it seems like CA hasn't released some of the final forms yet.

This is my first year using ProConnect, if someone can advise on how to clear these diagnostics or whether it's just a matter of waiting, I'd appreciate the help!

While the IRS is ready to go, Intuit isn't. Until all Forms needed for the return you are trying to file are finalized by both the IRS AND Intuit you need to wait. Put the file back into the file cabinet & pull out another one.
