E-Filing

I'm new to E-filing through ProSeries.  I received my EFIN from the IRS.   Does having an EFIN mean I also need an ERO and how to I do this?  Also, do I need to sign as preparer to efile my return and the returns of my kids, or can they be self-prepared?

When you applied for the EFIN, didn't you choose being an ERO as the reason for authorization?
