E-file transmission failure

I have two multi-state returns ready to e-file. One is a business return, the other an individual return. I got an error message more than once on each of these returns that there was an unexpected error in transmitting to the Intuit servers. When I attempted my last transmission, the individual return listed none of the expected returns on the ready to e-file screen. I have refreshed, checked all suggested issues like size of attachment and selections in profile match selections to e-file. I have logged out and returned to try again. This client has filed up to 20 states a year. Unlike Intuit, I am working this weekend. Now I will have to wait until Tuesday to phone or chat in. I hope it doesn't take an hour to get resolution or the realization that it has to be checked by the "back end".  If ProConnect cannot handle this type of client, I will need to make a change and am open to suggestions.

All good practitioners sign up for IRS Quick Alerts. If you had signed up you might have seen that IRS is shutdown this weekend https://www.irs.gov/e-file-providers/quickalerts-library

ProConnect has no control over this issue, but you keeping alert and informed does. https://www.marketingexpress.irs.gov/systems-status/system-status-mef/modernized-efile-mef-operational-status

Answers are easy. Questions are hard!
