does new IPPIN needed for amended return?

Hi,

I am efiling amended 2021, had same IPPIN as original filed,  but return got rejected. 

"Primary taxpayer's Identity Protection Personal Identification Number (IP PIN) must match the e-File database. Please double check your entry and resubmit your return with the correct number"

Do new IPPIN needed for the amended return?

    You need to use the IPPIN issued to the taxpayer for returns filed in 2024.

    They get a  new one every year.
