Question

Does anyone know when the instructions for the tax forms will be finalized? This is a critical diagnostic on 20 items. Thanks

This particular client is filing Form 1065 as a Partnership. I can ignore the critical diagnostic but I am warned it may force me to file an amended return if the final instruction changes the calculations.

And you can't file an amended 1065 if you're subject to the new audit procedures- you'd need to request an Administrative Adjustment.

1065 instructions are out on irs.gov now.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

The EA who prepares our biz returns uses another software for her own clients and was able to file 6 returns today. Pro Connect needs to get this updated ASAP.
