Check if there are any capital gains on a 1099-Div or 1099-R. Even wash transactions.

What kind of asset?  1099-B or 1099-S?

Type the following amounts into the search box and check whether there is any result under Field Data:

  • 258221
  • 1708

How many entries did you make?

Could you get away with much less?

1 entry for all short term covered

1 enter for log term covered

1 enter for short term not covered

1 enter for long term not covered

a few entries for those that are not either.
