Does anyone else receive an error when entering state and local withholding on a 2018 Indiana unemployment 1099-G? I am not able to rid the errors for electronic filing.

I receive an error message that says state and local abbreviations are entered on this 1099-G should be one or the other. Please remove one. The client has both state and local withholding on the 2018 1099-G.

This issue has been reported to development and should be corrected in a future update. If you have confirmed the local withholding is flowing correctly to the state you can disable the error checking to allow you to e-file today. This article shows you how to bypass the error check to get around this incorrect error.
