Deleting a dependent
A dependent was added after the Single return was e-filed in doing a "what-if" situation. Adding the dependent does not change the Federal return but it does Michigan's. I decided not to claim the dependent in an amended return so I deleted all of the dependent's information I had imputed, but the Michigan return still is claiming the dependent.
What's the fix for this?
