Delaware resident working in Maryland

I have a taxpayer who works in Maryland and has MD taxes withheld but lives in Delaware.  Proconnect is not giving him credit for the income taxes being paid to Maryland.  The program comes up with an amount less than is on the MD non resident return.  They should get credit for the MD income tax plus the Special non-resident tax.  The number it comes up with is less that that and I can't figure where the number comes from.  It is more than just the income tax portion.  I can overide the number but then it won't allow me to efile the Delaware return which is a pain.  Any help out there?

Delaware's tax rate is lower than MD's so taxpayer is unlikely to get credit for all of the MD tax paid.

Look at the 502CR and work through the calculations.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
