Decedent's final return
Decedent's DOD was May 2018. Just received 1099 for 2019. ProSeries 2019 is giving me an error stating the taxpayer's DOD shouldn't be before 2019. How do I correct this?

Dead people don't file returns for the year after they became dead. However dead people's estates do file 1041s to report income earned by their estate.
