Corrupt Company!!! Intuit changed my EIN# without my knowledge

I discovered my EIN# was incorrect after doing HUNDREDS of tax returns. Found out that Intuit updated it from QuickBooks and that they had it incorrect in QuickBooks. They also signed me up for payroll and EFTPS on QuickBooks with a made up EIN# and had me locked out of changing it. I have NEVER ran payroll through there nor did I sign anything giving them permission to sign me up for payroll or payroll taxes. The AUDACITY of this company to do whatever they want is outrageous! It’s no wonder the BBB score is a D-! Now the information that I  have been submitted to the IRS is wrong and it’s Intuit’s fault!

I’m gonna guess that it isn’t a made up number but probably one of your client’s EIN numbers or some other user in the QB universe.

As a side note, thanks for making me smile.  I have never looked up the BBB score for anybody but I did get a chuckle seeing that Intuit didn’t quite make the dean’s list with that grade.
