All:

I am new to ProConnect and after attempting to submit my first return yesterday, I got this error:

Error message: If first two digits of the EFIN in the IRS Submission Manifest are 10, 21, 32, 44 or 53, then 'OriginatorTypeCd' in the Return Header must have the value "OnlineFiler".
Solution: The EFIN used to transmit this return is not a registered EFIN to e-file 1040 Modernized e-file returns with the IRS. To update your EFIN to include 1040 Modernized e-file returns, please copy and paste this web address in an internet browser to go to IRS e-Services where your EFIN can be updated online. https://la.www4.irs.gov/e-services/Registration/index.htm Or you may also call the IRS e-File Helpdesk for assistance at: (866) 255-0654 Once your EFIN has been updated, please retransmit this return.
Code: R0000-118-01

I checked the eServices site and my ERO status is active.  I don't see a way to add modernized e-file returns.  Can someone help me with this?

Be sure you have the correct EFIN and have verified it with PTO. https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/help-articles/help/register-your-efin-with-proconnect-tax-online/00/4996

Looks like you may have chosen the wrong "type" when you applied for your EFIN. Others have had the same issue.  Looks like you'll need to contact IRS E-services for this.
