Question

Client is a us citizen, spouse lives in Africa, not US citizen, no SS#. He supports the household in Africa. What would be correct filing status? MFS requires SS#. S?

(Also has a child, US citizen but no SS#.  Lives in Africa that he supports.  Assume 
can't claim for HOH.
